Don't repeat chapters,
the ending of the story will never change.
The truth of the matter is, people are always going to
stay in our hearts, whether or not they are in our lives.
Do you remember what it was like before? It's been months, and everyday I remember something new.
It's like little pieces of wood floating to the surface, only hinting at the shipwreck beneath.
Nothing is more memorable than a smell. One scent can be unexpected, momentary and fleeting, yet conjure up a child-hood summer beside a lake in the mountains; another, a moon-lit beach; a third, a family dinner of pot roast and sweet potatoes during a myrtle-mad august in a mid-western town. Smells denote softly in our memory like poignant land mines hidden under the weedy mass of years. They hit a tripwire of smell and memories explode all at once. A complex vision leaps out of the undergrowth.
2. What they say, life goes on, is mostly true. The mail is delivered, and the christmas lights go up and down from the houses, and the ladders get put away, and you open yet another box of cereal. In time, the volume of my feelings would be turned down in gentle increments to near quiet, and yet the record would still spin, always spin.

Sometimes we don't ever move on...it's kind of like if someone was to dig a huge hole in the street, the first few times you would forget it's there and fall into it and get injured. But, as time goes on you rememer that it's there and you start reminding yourself to walk around it.
That's why I don't do drugs or drink. I want everything I say or write to come from the heart, not a pill or a pipe.
Maybe you can afford to wait. Maybe for you there’s a tomorrow. Maybe for you there’s one thousand tomorrows, or three thousand, or ten, so much time you can bathe in it, roll around it, let it slide like coins through you fingers. So much time you can waste it. But for some of us there’s only today. And the truth is, you never really know.

In life you are the author of your own book. Writing in pen doesn't come out so easily. When you make a mistake you can't just erase it and pretend as if nothing happened. You can always try to cover it up with white out, but it's still there. Forget it, just turn the page over and have a fresh start. Remember your mistake from before, this is the time to make things right.
You and I were different. We came from different worlds, and
yet you were the one who taught me the value of love.
Be thankful for hard times in your life. Try not to look at them
as bad things, but as opportunities to grow and learn.
I know you're upset about him. It's okay, be upset, cry, scream into your pillow till you think you've lost your voice. But looking back on this stupid boy who broke your heart in the future, you'll laugh at him, Laugh because he thought he was doing the right thing at the right time. Turns out he wasn't because he lost something amazing. And you'll thank him. Thank him for making you stronger, and to say to hell with him, I'm great. But most importantly you'll appreciate what he did, because without him leaving you wouldn't have found the amazing boy you're with now.

You will lose someone you can’t live without,and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly—that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp.
When we first met, you were the sweetest boy i'd ever met. I was sure you'd treat me right. Now, i don't even know what i saw in you. Seriously, you are the biggest player at my school, but i didn't see it till now. Fuck that sparkle in your eye, you take advantage of it.

I love the way you said you'd always love me and I love the way you looked at me with eyes that reassured every promise you made. Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. Live in the faith that the whole world is on your side as long as you are true to the best that is in you.

We should all start to live before we get too old. Fear is stupid, so are regrets
people spend their whole lives trying to live up to other people's expectations and being told what to do. i say screw that; be free. do what you want, go where you want, and reach for the sky because life has no limits or boundaries. boundaries are just other people's fears, and limits are just other people's expectations. you only get one chance to do all the things that life offers you. have no enemies, no regrets. no fears, and then you'll have really lived life.

You know when you are doing a math test, and you skip those really hard problems and save them for last because they are too complicated or you just don't get it? I am one of those problems and that is exactly how people treat me.
I'm not sad, mad, upset, depressed, or frustrated. I’m disappointed that you were exactly what everyone said you were. A player, jerk, and someone who will never understand what true love really means.
Believe, that one single positive dream is more important than a thousand negative realities.
If he misses you, he’ll call just to hear your voice. If he wants you, he’ll say it. And if he cares, he’ll show it. If he has a thought about you, it will come out of his mouth. If you are on his mind non stop, he will do anything he can just to see you. If he truly likes you, he won’t let anything get in the way and fight back just to keep you in his arms. If not, he can’t be worth your time because you’re obviously not worth his.

Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.
